About Our Pastor

Pastor Rodney Sprowls began his ministry at Panama Baptist Church in the fall of 2010. Pastor Rodney grew up on a farm southwest of Erie, Pennsylvania, and because of this, comes to PBC with a strong work ethic. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Piedmont Baptist College in Biblical Education, and later graduated from Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA, with a Master of Divinity degree. Pastor and his wife, Tammy, are blessed to have two grown, married children, and they enjoy being able to spend time with them whenever possible. Pastor also enjoys spending time with his wife and riding his motorcycle. He has a burdening desire to see the surrounding communities told of the gospel, and to be shown Christ’s love. Because of a background with a wide variety of life experiences, developing relationships, caring for people, and strategic planning are just a few of the many gifts that Pastor Rodney brings to Panama Baptist Church.
