Children's Ministries
Kids who are fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ – that’s the goal of the trained Kidz Ministry staff at Panama Baptist Church. To reach this goal, we do three things:
- Pray together regularly.
- Partner with parents.
- Provided environments that are safe – physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Beginning in our indoor “Park,” we partner with parents by praying for the babies in our care each time they enter our nursery. Also in The Park are the Toddler and Pre-K classes where we teach our kids that they are part of God’s big story and focus on instilling into them six core truths that we refer to as “The Big 6”:
- God is good.
- God gave us the Bible.
- God loves everyone.
- God gave us Jesus.
- God wants us to worship Him.
- God made everything.
As kids grow and enter our K-5th grade programs, we continue to partner with parents and teach our kids how God is relevant in their lives today because they are a part of His big story.
The curriculum used in both our Sunday School and Kidz Church programs are aligned so that as our staff and parents partner together we are taking intentional steps to help our kids become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
